Written by the editor of the Journal of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, this practical book explains how to avoid such pitfalls of the medical professions as failure to diagnose, confidentiality, disclosure of information, lack of informed consent, and poor documentation. It aids doctors in all disciplines to become proactive in managed care, expert testimony, and medical malpractice. Citing case law both in the US and abroad gives the book global appeal.
