Kathryn Thomas has done it agin. This book pulls you in front start to finish. Blanche has been sent to assassinate a MC President who stands in the Cartels way. She is a tough sassy lady who is a force to be reckoned with until she meets her prey. Jason Fowler is tough no nonsense kind of guy who looks out for his people and his town. This is until it all starts to unravel and her identity comes out.
How are you supposed to be a bad ass assassin, when you haven't even killed a man?
Second, Jason, you bitch. Spoiler alert, he hits her, then shoves her so she's in pain and has to get medicine. And Blanche just takes it, cuz she's in luuuuuuv and she deserves it and blah blah blah.
Everyone in this story is not smart. I don't recommend it. Not trying to be mean, but damn, even I can't handle the train wreck that is these characters. It also ends on a cliffhanger.

I've read a lot of Ms Thomas' books and really enjoyed them. This one, not so much. I felt like the character's relationship was back and forth hot and cold like they weren't sure what they wanted. I don't know, but this book just didn't click for me.
Blanche and Jason were good together and did have some chemistry, but they were on again off again a bit too much for me. She is an assassin, he is a biker she was sent to kill. This book had lots of action, but was slow on background details. The story lost me at times during I believe were to be dreams. Over all it was a descent read. I received the book as an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Hmmmmm, this is tough one to write. Blanche was an interesting character, an assassin for a cartel, a tough chick with attitude to match. Jason, the "bad assed biker pres" , I found kind of wishy washy. He's hot then cold for Blanche, he's tough then mushy with her. I couldn't figure him out. I just found their relationship all over the place. I read the original copy of this book some time ago and I don't know that this has improved upon that. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book, and would recommend reading for free, but I wouldn't pay for it.
This is a good MC romance. You have a female assassin for the cartel who falls for the MC President she is supposed to kill.
Blanche and Jason have a lot of passion for each other and it definitely keeps it hot and steamy. There is plenty of action in the story too as these two live a dangerous lifestyle.
First time reading Kathryn Thomas and it had a lot of good things happening in this story but a few things I just lost my attention. I look forward to reading more to understand the writing style.
