বুয়েটের সি এস ই বিভাগের প্রফেসর সাইদুর রহমান স্যার এই বইয়ের লেখক। আর কায়কোবাদ স্যার গ্রাফ থিউরি কোর্সের কোর্স টিচার ছিলেন। প্রথম চারটি অধ্যায় মূলত এই বই থেকে পড়ানো হয়েছে।

বইয়ে গাণিতিক যুক্তির আধিক্য ছিলো। সেই তুলনায় ইলাস্ট্রেটিভ এক্সাম্পল অনেক কম মনে হয়েছে। গ্রাফ থিউরির প্রথম কোর্স হিসেবে তেমন রিকমেন্ড করার মত না।

তবে বাংলাদেশী বইয়ের লেখক হিসেবে অবশ্যই বইটি প্রশংসার যোগ্য। সারাজীবন পাশের দেশের লেখকদের ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিংয়ের বই জনপ্রিয় হিসেবে দেখে এসেছি। আশা করি অন্যান্য বিষয়ের গবেষকরা বই লেখায় উৎসাহী হবেন।
