a very interesting short book about medicine in prehistoric , meaning before the invention of writing and the Pharaonix Era. the book covers what we mark as prehistoric, and include the Aboriginal (AUstralian), Native American, African's ways of healings and also the sumerian, Mohandjo Daro and Vedic (India) civilisations and of course the Pharaonic Egypt.
It also points the importance of the non physical treatment, and the importance of the general wellness and harmony of the ill and its relations with the direct environment.
I appreciate the hinlights and the very logical explainations, the references of what was still used in England during the IXXth century.
a short, very well illustrated, informative book on the history of medicine.
