Tchevy Tchevchenko, a mellow old hippie, just wants to play music, live quietly, finally win a banjo contest and maybe even find a lady that won't drive him too nuts. But people keep getting murdered all around him. It's most inconsiderate. Worse, the woman that drives him the craziest, Policewoman Lee Shaheen, keeps popping up, demanding that he do something about all this injustice.
In the fourth adventure, things get serious. An old picking buddy is murdered, and simple misadventure becomes horror. Ghosts and specters from the past appear. Arson, murder, gunrunning, and much worse crimes entangle poor old Tchevy. He suffers great losses, gains a treasure, and learns a few lessons he would rather have forgone.
