When I'm not writing - which isn't very often - I enjoy reading Daphne Du Maurier, Edgar Allan Poe, Shirley Jackson, MR James and the Brontes, among many others. I also enjoy swimming, walking and spending time with my family.

Superb gritty read
I have not yet read a book by Heather Atkinson that I have not enjoyed.
Gripping, gritty all the cliche, but seriously good reads. A superb knack for storytelling that leaves you unable to put the book down.

Didn't disappoint, still a gripping read as were the first 2 in series
