That Cali Kind of Love: Hitta and Lala 3

Rate this book
Secret after secret unfolds in this drama-filled finale to the series. It seems that when it rains it really pours as Hitta tries his best to care for LaLa’s nephews in her absence. His mother is there for him every step of the way; albeit, sometimes too much.
Relationships are repaired and some are broken as secrets and lies threaten to rip apart close unions, longtime friendships, and tight knit families.

In the midst of all the drama, Hitta learns the power of love and forgiveness, and the price of betrayal. Maybe we don’t know Hitta as well as we thought we did…or do we?
You will laugh, cry, get mad, and smile again as you say goodbye to these crazy but loving characters who were able to find light in the midst of the darkness.

Deceit, demons, lies, hate, jealousy and unconditional love are the main ingredients that cooked up this book in order to finish this series with a bang.

You may have had love, but have you ever had, ‘That Cali Kind of Love’?

This one was okay guess it took me too long to get back to the series because overall, I wasn’t feeling it at all. From the beginning with her still in a hospital or wherever then not wanting to ride to all of a sudden getting over all her fears and driving. It just didn’t flow, even the writing style was lame as ever. The main issues were jumped over but what was eaten, and the cleaning was told in detail.

G-Ride walks her down the isle to do what he did and Kaleah comes in and leaves just as fast. The issues with Jayshon are swept under the rug but Catrell goes through it. Nothing with his father comes back up. Still not sure what the deal was with Boss, why even bring him in if that was all? The part with Lala playing detective was all off, as many threats she threw out at everyone you’d think she was a paid hitman or something or she was going to be on a warpath. The scene with her blasting the ring leader out was all over the place.

First it was the mom he was with while the other two were standing there talking. Then it was him and the guy doing all that. Plus, I thought the other guy was shot and locked up already, he must’ve been out on bail or something because it all just didn’t make sense. Then for Barbara to know all that and not say a word, that was just crazy, but Lala turns right back around and not tell Hitta. Can’t really rock with this one.

Excellent finale

Well all great things must come to it and I hate to See this as the end I've come to love these characters what a great finale central come home although Tina is finally resting in peace I just wish that granny was still here just humorous action-packed drama was awesome wouldn't change a word of it and the reconciliation with Jbone was a great finale this airport was about a young girl but her actions sorry to say molestation of children makes them victims and they become the McLister out freaking standing
