My summer of LP armchair travel continues.

I'd give this tour of Hungary (mostly Budapest) three stars on content, but the many problems with the Kindle edition I had drops it down to two stars. One of the fun things about reading the LP books on Kindle is that you can use the many links to go directly to websites for the attractions they are discussing. Or SHOULD be able to. This particular edition had a lot of linkage problems, visible code, etc.

Useful, but not as helpful for us as the Rick Steves guide. The Lonely Plabet guide features overview and great photos, but doesn't feel as insightful for hidden gems. We used this to plan parts of our honeymoon to Poland and Hungary in August 2024, but didn't find ourselves opening this guidebook as much while we were traveling.

Good information. Especially liked the wine festival details.
