Meh. It started out promising. The storyline became obsurdly obvious about 1/4th of the way in and from then on it book became tedious.

I really enjoyed this one. It had intrigue, romance, secret identities, a counterfeit ring, action taking place in England, France, and Italy and an interesting storyline. It held my attention throughout. Even though I was able to guess the hidden identity of one of the characters, the author did a good job of moving the plot along. Since this is the final in a quartet of Lord Belami's adventures, I now look forward to reading the previous three instalments to get caught up as I didn't realize it was a series.
