Breeder Nation and Bonus Novelette-Falling from Grace
Breeder Nation: Living in a world where the human race is dying off faster than it can reproduce, sixteen year old Maddie Ryan has started her period, an almost guaranteed sign of fertility. Knowing it's only a matter of time before the government finds out and forces her into the life of a Breeder, where her sole purpose will be to help repopulate the earth, she is faced with a harrowing decision. Does she willingly accept her fate or take matters into her own hands and run? Both options will tear her away from the life she has always known and from those she loves most, her parents and her best friend Travis, the boy who owns her heart.
For nineteen year old Travis Brennan, there are only three people in this world who matter...his mother, his little sister, Grace, and his best friend, Maddie. Maddie's sudden disappearance not only forces him to confront his feelings for her, but leads to a chain of events that will forever alter the course of their lives.
As truths are revealed and lies are uncovered, Travis and Maddie will learn there is much more at stake than they could have ever imagined.
Features Bonus Novelette- Falling from Grace:
Where Breeder Nation ends, Falling from Grace begins. This novelette follows the story of Travis’s younger sister, Grace, as she deals with the aftermath of Travis and Maddie’s choices, giving further insight into the world of Breeder Nation.
Warning: Sometimes our characters have a strong preference for the f-bomb.
Loved reading this. Had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end.
I've even added it on Kindle so I can read it whenever I want : )
I need more though. A sequel would be great ;) to find out what happens next. Do they ever stop Breeder Nation and the horrible things that happen there??? questions questions questions :P
Leaving everything behind for love, is what drives both, Maddie and Travis's decissions. The runner and the hunter, each one trying to protect the other in their own way, the regret of what could have been playing in both their minds until they meet again. Throw in a possible love interest and a corrupt government and the results are an emotional Rollercoaster that will make you not want to put the book down.
I cant even. Im absolutely speechless!!! I had no freaking idea that KM published this book. No freaking idea!!!! Whhyy?!! Oh why?!!
Anyways. Lets come to the review since i have read this book like 2 times! Im not going to spoil the whole thing and im not going to write the whole story. You have to read it yourself to determine how you like it. I personally loved it!
THIS BOOK!!!...
I absolutely loved this book from the moment i read the prologue. KM did an absolute amazing job on this. The way they wrote the chapters and the storyline specially. The storyline was new to me and it blew me away. Literally. It will catch your attention from the very start and you wont be able to get away. It has just the right amount of everything. Action. Suspense. A bit of Comedy in the midst. You'll know what im saying when you read it. And the most important of them all....
Drum roll please.
Romance !!!!!
Ah my favorite genre.
Lets come to the characters shall we.
We have our beautiful, kind Maddie. Our lead lady. As you know she had run away to save herself from certain circumstances. Which were not good. I tell you not good at all. When she started her cycle for the first time, without telling anyone anything she ran. Because if she'd told anyone... she'd be caught. She didnt even see her best friend who she loved very much.
Best friend. Travis Brennan. The hotness overloaded.*sigh*
*cue swoon*
All in short. Travis gets confused and sad about why Maddie ran. And that also without telling him. He questions it. But when he discovers 'something' Maddie left behind for him in their special place. He swears to find her and keep her save at any cost. Even if that cost would be getting into the military. The same militaty that made Maddie run in the first place.
So I started reading this while I was waiting on a different Author to add more to her book. I was just gonna read a chapter or 2....it turned into reading the whole book. I liked that it different then stuff I have read before. I liked alot of it I was all set to give it 5 stars then in the Middle of the book I started to lose interest.( maybe it was me) I pushed through anyway. There is alot of stuff I didn't like . Him with "Hot Doc" Her with Aiden. How they hide they feeling. He dated other girls. Then when they meet up again I felt. disappointed and under whelmed. And the ending???? Like what happened? Where they go? Can or do they see there family again? Do they stay together? What Happened to everyone?
I read this book a couple years back one of my favorite books I’ve ever read super original and I remember loving the characters. I pray the authors put it on audible because I’m dyslexic and I have adhd. So reading a book is very difficult for me and I missed of much from the book because of it. Shit I’ll record myself reading it for them. I just would love an audio book version. This is one of my favorite books ever and it’s crazy to me that is was created and prublished originally through watt patch. Fuck instead of all these stupid toxic Romance books from Wattpad turned into movies shit this book deserves a show or movie. And yeah freaking read it!
This was fine- the overall story was interesting enough. But I wanted more backstory, and idk seems a little weird to have basically no resistance if it’s only been like a decade and most people still remember normal life. Also I could not stand how Travis kept calling Aiden “kid” and his sister “squirt” as if they are not all basically the same age and he is all of 19 years old, a literal fetus still.
I’ve read this book several times on Wattpad, and it’s so good, I struggle to put it down. I’d love a sequel, there are so many unanswered questions.Would recommend to everyone
