Claire doesn’t like to think of her move to Cape Cod as running away, it’s more like starting over. That’s why she adopts an adorable boxer, Rufus, gets a little place, and finds a great job. She is moving on with her life after a terrible break-up.

With that in mind, she takes Rufus to the beach, for a fun game of catch. She didn’t anticipate his desire to chase that ball no matter what, how cold the water would be, or how fast a riptide could carry you her out to sea.

Lucky for her, Caleb Jennings, former life guard turned pediatrician grew up on the ocean and manages a daring rescue. He’s handsome, smart and brave. But can he rescue Claire’s broken heart?

It was fine, however, I felt like I was reading a young adult romance. Both Caleb and Claire were behaving like teenagers with crazy hormones instead of sensible late twenties or early thirties.

Crazy Puppy Love by Tammy Andresen is a fairly short read, perfect for those with limited time for reading. Ms Andresen has penned a well written book. Caleb and Claire's story is a refreshing romance, without all the dark angst you find in so many of the books you find now. The characters are fantastic. This is a sweet story with humor, spice and just a little drama. I enjoyed this entertaining book and look forward to reading more from Tammy Andresen in the future. Crazy Puppy Love is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

I received this ebook to read and review.

After a difficult break up Claire moves from the city to the Cape in the hopes of healing herself. She needs a change of pace and is looking forward to the quite of the Cape. She adopts a boxer and while playing on the beach one day he starts to get swept out to sea. Claire goes into the water to save him, but she herself needs to be rescued. Along comes Caleb! The handsome doctor, and former lifeguard, he saves her and Rufus and along comes love.

This was a cute, quick read.

I always like more relationship depth than this book has to offer, but it is a quick read that offers what most people want in a romance and adds the fun of a sweet dog to the mix. It is a good, quick book!

I wish I could've gotten to know Rufus, Claire & Caleb even better, but this was a sweet, super quick read, and I enjoyed it immensely! Everything I've read by Tammy Andresen has been spicy-sweet and plenty of swoon-worthy moments, and this is no exception.
