Rate this book
Kate Sanders waged a war against breast cancer and won — but at what cost? Her fiancé deserted her, leaving her two best friends to pick up the pieces. After reconstruction surgery, the girls decided it was time for Kate to rejoin the ranks of the living. After all, all men couldn't be perfidious jerks, right?

Little did they know their efforts would lead Kate not only to Cash, a legally blind vet and an exceptional man, but straight into the path of a psychotic killer.
Would the devastating Cash save her from the clutches of her stalker? More importantly, could he convince her he was the man of her dreams, or would the recurrence of her disease prove terminal to their love?

Enjoyable read

Went back and forth on this rating. Enjoyable book really enjoyed the topics of her illness and info on this and on the Vet details but felt his disability was glossed over almost entirely 1st half of book. Seemed that despite it probably impacting his life quite a bit; there were no details on how he managed, other than saying he could not drive. Seemed to walk around and work and deal with child and household with only 1 reference to audio on his phone. HE led her places!?? Well written and Definetely had some major twists and turns. Well proofread

You may have to suspend your belief system just a bit to get past a few unlikely coincidences, but you'll be so glad you did. The hero, Cash, and the heroine, Kate, have both been wounded by life and carry a lot of baggage, which makes them vulnerable and, in Kate's case, wary, but what remains undamaged is the depth of their courage, honor, and ability to love. You'll adore the two of them, along with Cash's 11-year old daughter, who's wise beyond her years. Throw in a psychopathic ex-fiance, and you've got an emotionally charged, suspensful story that kept me flipping pages till the very end.

Simply fantastic

I loved this book. I couldn't put it down. Loved the characters. One thing was senseless. A man as intelligent as cash would've bought 2 pair of glasses. And.. If we have someone as living as cash, she wouldn nt have even considered letting him go.

Very nice story. Only thing that was a disappointment was the ending. There wasn't much of one at all.
