YESSSSSSSS is all I can say!!!!! This book was soooooo good. I almost forgot how much I used to love to read. Another book I couldn't put down! A must read, if you like suspense and o the drama!!!! LOL
Great read . OMG!!!! A fire read. I didn't see that ending coming at all . The one you least expect to have your back be the one to have it. I will be reading the next book in the series . I was hooked from the first page .
Gee should leave Shannon. She's scandalous. Cheating with a stripper then eye raping the doctor whilst Gee is in a coma. Smh. Should be a page turner in part 2 where he and Kandi get together and leave Shannon.
This was just an ok read for me but for the most part it was well written with few errors. I can honestly say I thought Blake was just another dude infatuated with Shannon. It was crazy how possessive Gee seemed to be at times like he knew something was going on. Blaze was beyond scandalous and got on every nerve I have. She needed to leave well enough alone but considering everything she had going on she should've never acted the way she did. Shannon was wrong for the part that she played and hopefully she learned a valuable lesson. As for Amber, she needed to mind her business and focus on herself but it left me wondering that she played a bigger part in how things came together. I liked Kandi and how good of a friend she was but I was mad Shannon didn't feel comfortable enough telling her the truth. Chaos is a loose cannon but I liked how hard he went for his sister even though she was wrong. I would read part 2 because I'm ready to find out who got hit and if Shannon and Gee will ever repair their relationship.
Pros *nice twist on the fatal attraction angle *predictable storyline ( I didn't have to think ) *urban author sharing their gift *the sex scenes were the best part of the book (i'm not mad at it lol)
Cons *needs character development *grammatical and spelling errors *incorrect word usage -research required, especially when referencing medical or legal procedures i.e "your pee test came back positive" as opposed to "your urine test came back positive *repetitive word play *erratic, sophomoric writing and delivery *predictable story despite not being clearly constructed *romantic moments a bit forced and to "sacchrine" *the insta-obession was extremely quick
randoms *Gee's bi-polar switch from "baby, I love you" to "baby, I'll kill you" gave me whiplash *I found it hard to believe that Shannon could move the way she did with Gee as insecure as he was i.e getting out of bed with your man to go "make a move" at 3a...Maybe he slept like the dead. *the "wild west" shootout was completely unbelievable
Gee was in love with Shannon but she ended up doing something so devastating. Gee found out she was being disloyal and he was heart broken. Shannon decided to be a little to friendly with Blaze. Blaze seem a to be okay but they n get a little crazy. Shannon tries to keep her distance but she keeps being stupid. Once Gee finds out he is very upset and outraged. Gee gets hurt and now Shannon have to try to fix things with Gee. Now Shannon is pregnant and wanna know how she is gonna get things fixed between them. Now ready for part 2 to see what's going to happen. Good book.
Interesting storyline. Character development was thought out, but there were a few mix ups that made the storyline confusing in the beginning. Overall it was a great story that I would recommend.
