Lovers of East Anglia, architecture and religion (not necessarily in that order) will enjoy this slim reference book that details the history of the various non-conformist chapels that have sprung up around Norwich in the past three hundred years.
On the plus side, the text is kept short and simple, and explains very well the complex diversity of the different branches of Christianity and how they interact. The history is a little light, but there's plenty on architecture here. The prose is accompanied by plenty of interesting black-and-white photographs that were one of the highlights for me.
Specialist and niche it may be, but this is a nice little book.
