i liked it very much. Only 32 pages it was an interesting/informative account of Germans in Germany and their migration to the United States.

This book is interesting; it has large paragraphs of text with factual information with some pictures here and there. The information is made up with a lot of numbers and facts, but little explanation. Parts of the book makes reference to today's culture and how it was influenced by the Germans, but is so minuet, most of the facts will go over their heads. There are German activities the children to do, but are placed randomly in the book with little background knowledge, of how they were used or what they were used for. Parts of the book could be used as to introduce the German culture, but the whole book is overwhelming.
