Natasha Beckford is the beautiful but slutty young trophy wife of hedge fund billionaire Todd Beckford. She has everything a woman could want: a gorgeous mansion, expensive cars, designer clothes, personal chefs and a calendar filled with glitzy events attended by only New York’s richest of the rich. But Natasha has one awful problem: her husband hasn’t touched her in almost a year. So she cheats on him. A lot. When he finally catches her red-handed, poor Natasha’s world takes a turn for the dark, and soon, her ultra-wealthy and ultra-cruel husband is designing risky, disturbing ways for her to be “punished” for her crimes and earn his forgiveness. With Todd in complete control, Natasha soon finds herself submitting to demands that slowly become more and more extreme, until she’s faced with a final, twisted decision – one that will change her life forever. This is a dark story about love and revenge. But it’s also a story about absolution.
This book... The author's logic... The characters...
Fuckery that defies belief.
Like...I don't think there's a word in English to describe the level of unrealistic psychological reasoning the author employed to explain why these characters did what they did to each other. The level of masochism that it requires for these characters to do these things and then find love again with each other defies the bounds of fiction...fuck defying reality.
The Deets: For about a year the H has ignored the h sexually, emotionally, physically, and refused to give her any of his time. They sleep in different rooms and rarely see/talk to each other. To get his attention, the h starts cheating on him. A lot. She tried to talk to him first, but he tunes her out and continues to ignore her. He finally catches her mid fuck. He pretends he's not desperately angry and then he plots and plans the most degrading sexual experiences for her as revenge and he watched it all happen. She agrees to this thinking he will forgive her. He has men pay 50k a pop to fuck her BARE. He takes her to a sex party and has her strapped down so every man there can fuck her BARE. He has her whipped and fucked by a Dom in public. And the list just goes on. Meanwhile in his POV he loves to degrade her, he thinks she's a whore and is convinced she wants this. ORIGINALLY, the h is only fucking around on him to get his attention. She begins to think of herself as trash and unworthy and that's why she lets these men defile her...this is BEFORE the H finds out. Then he finds out and in his POV he goes on about how he always does for her what she needs and some other bullshit to justify the need to treat her like a sex slave...which is what he calls her. So by the end of the book he's thought of her as absolute trash and turns this all back on her so that she has to prove she trusts him. He won't even fuck her until the last chapter. This is after he makes her believe she's going to have to shoot a porn movie which she thinks is too degrading. Really, all he wants is for her to show up so he can make her choose life or death, in the form of a glass full of poison. She has to trust him enough to drink the glass he tells her is poison free. She of course picks his glass and then they realize how much they really do love each other and finally fuck after over a year of not and months of her sexual degradation.
There's more, I just can't even wrap my head around it. There's erotic fiction and then there's erotic cruelty. This book falls into the category of hate-fuck. There's no love or believable HEA here.
This was probably one of the stupidest books I've ever read, and yet I couldn't stop reading it. I kept telling myself Natasha was going to wake up and realize her piece of crap husband didn't love her after all. Even though she cheated on him countless times, she still didn't deserve what he dished out under the guise of punishment.
She ate it all up-ready to do anything to gain his forgiveness.
Safety: What safety? There was none. She had sex with countless men without condoms. No one ever mentioned STD's. This author is the epitome of irresponsible.

ABSOLUTION by Gabi Moore
Although well written, this book takes me out of my comfort zone. The storyline was very dark at times but also enjoyable at times. There are some very shocking scenes in this book, that just weren't for me but there were also parts that were easier to accept and enjoy. The characters brought out emotions in me that I'm not sure I really liked, it was hard to read at times. I know this is a new idea for this author, and I'm sure that there are plenty of people that will love this dark and twisted tale but unfortunately it just wasn't the book for me!
Natasha, a bored lonely housewife, married to Todd, cheats on her husband.
Don't feel too sorry for him though.. they are just as bad as each other. He hasn't shown any interest in his wife for nearly a year and she then cheats with anyone or everyone
He catches her in the act and the proceeds to treat her to his idea of punishment... I say treats as she seems to go willingly and enjoys it.
This was a very strange story. I couldn't warm to either character. Both douches! I would have preferred a different ending
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and as much as I'd like to give a higher rating I just can't. The author did warn that you'd either love or hate this book and I tried as much as I could but I could not find a liking to Natasha or her husband. I couldn't even feel sorry for him for Natasha cheating on him, for most of the time I actually didn't blame her for cheating and I don't condone cheating at all. There was no explanation at all as to why he wouldn't sleep with his wife which is what lead to her cheating in the first place. Then once he found out he was so horrible to Natasha and she just let him treat her like a piece of meat.....A food platter to be passed around at a party. These two eventually said they loved each other but I found that very hard to believe. Even after claiming he loved her he said he didn't care that she had been cheating on him it was more due to the fact that SHE didn't trust him. He was even willing to let her die..yet he loved her?? Hmmm yeah ok. He was such an arse to her and she let him hand out her "punishments" in order for him to forgive her which he never did anyone. These two are two very mixed up couples and perhaps they deserve one another anyway.

This has nothing to do with the writing, just the content!
I had to give this two stars, not because of the author's writing, but because it just wasn't for me. It was actually well written and a good plot within the bondage category, but man was it ever dark. I have to disclose I agreed to review this book. The characters clearly both loved and hated each other to the point that they wanted to make each other suffer to the extreme. Which I guess in their sick, twisted world it worked. Personally, I would have just have just said heck no and left, because Todd was a murderous creep, but then in the same respects Natasha really was a cheating ho, so there you have it - two people who clearly have no moral compass so in the end they deserved each other.
Not a bad book, just not my thing. I don't mind reading a good BDSM or menages, but multiple orgies where she is the featured presentation and shaming to get off, just made me uncomfortable. I couldn't connect with Todd and Natasha as they came off to me as two selfish people with too much wealth.
That being said, the writing was good and Gabi Moore tells a very good story. If you are into this type of alternate marriage lifestyle story, then you'll like this book. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
What a hot and sexy read! Wonderful story-line, great characters, off the charts chemistry, emotional, gritty, dark, twisted, kinky, raw, titillating... a page turner from the very beginning till the very end.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This is a really hard book to review. This book was dark, it was uncomfortable to read in areas, it was almost taboo.
It was almost painful to read at times, you found yourself feeling sorry and sympathetic towards both characters at times, but then you'd feel almost disgusted by their actions and reactions at other times. I think it takes a good author to make you feel so strongly about the characters though, whether the subject matter is intense and uncomfortable or not. This book, at its heart, is about the struggle of a married couple to overcome boredom and apathy, to decide if the marriage is worth fighting for, and if they still love each other at the end of the day and can forgive each other. It's definitely a good read, just be ready to step outside your comfort zones at times! I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
I had a hard time deciding how I felt about this book. In the beginning, I didn't care at all for either of the main characters. Natasha is the bored wife, feeling neglected by her rich husband, and Todd just seems to have checked out. In fact, I almost stopped reading around chapter 4, but the OCD in me wouldn't let me leave it unfinished. By the end, I was glad that I did finish as Gabi Moore led me down a path that had my emotions running in every direction with these characters. There were times I wanted to shake Natasha until her teeth rattled and times that I wanted to punch Todd right in the mouth, but in the end, I found myself rooting for these two crazy people. When an author can pull me into a story to that extent, she's done her job well, and this is one that I won't soon forget.
As one of the blurbs I read said, this is a story of love, revenge, and one of absolution. It is a very dark story and it's very different from what I usually read, but I enjoyed it tremendously. A story like this will make you sit back and think! I would definitely give this book,a try, but read the warning/disclaimer before you do! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This is a suspenseful and intriguing book to read and I really enjoyed reading it. This book covers: Natasha, a bored trophy cheating wife. Todd, her husband who has been neglecting her for quite some time. What you will find in this book is: drama, intrigue, neglect, betrayal, unfaithfulness, caught, rules, sadistic, punishment, sex toy, a party, BDSM, revenge, payback, an ultimatum, trust, vulnerability, lust, emotional feelings, love and steamy erotic scenes. I found the story-line to be well thought out and written. The characters had emotional feelings of lust, revenge, payback and love, according to the situation they found themselves in. I would recommend this book to people who like to read a well written bad boy romance
Let me start out by saying this is a very dark romance. But even if you aren't a fan of that genre but like psychological thrillers, this could be the book for you. Anyone who is married and bored or feeling neglected and starting to have a wondering eye should absolutely read this. It will stop you in your tracks. The couple is one of those you feel disgusted with right away. But at the same time feel a pang for them at times. Natasha is like a trophy wife and Todd is a business man who is a workaholic so he never takes time to even see his wife. When she gets so lonely for him and attempts to talk to him, he just blows her off saying he doesn't have time to waste. He is very cold towards her. As a reader, I could tell right away though that they really loved each other. It was like he resented her because she was always spending money on ways to make her something she was not. Like plastic surgery. And she was high maintenance. However, she was so lonely. So begins the many affairs she has with who knows how many different men. Finally, she is caught by Todd. This is what sparks the beginning of many "punishments" from her husband. She never knows what to expect and it is scary as crap. Of course, Todd has made it very clear that she can walk away from it all at any time. And no one is forcing her to participate. But she loves him so she stays. The things he puts her through and has her endure are so vile. im dying to say more but I've told enough. I loved the ending. And I hate to say this, but her indiscretions only seemed to cause the couple to open their eyes about their marriage and fix it. Having an affair actually saved their marriage and made it better in the end. I know that sounds twisted. And please don't think I condone that nor does the author. It is written tastefully. It makes you stop and think what we take for granted in our relationship. Even the simplest thing as just a moment for a kind word. And to show respect. This couple both had to hit rock bottom with their own issues in the marriage to realize what is most important in life and of value. Not money or working all the time. And it's not just spending lots of time together, it's the quality time we make an effort for. This book gets down to the root of a relationship, which is trust. All kinds of trust. Trust to remain faithful and loyal at all times. Plus, for Todd and Natasha, it opened up things in their sex life that neither were aware of they enjoyed. Let's just say a little kink. Lol. And the trust one would have in a partner not to go too far. I know Todd was an asshole and I can see her starving for attention. Maybe even thinking something is wrong with her that he doesn't want sex, but I don't like to blame the one cheated on in any way for causing it. In the end, there should be forgiveness, but more so than that is trust in each other to protect you in all ways. It's not just the infidelity. It's also surrendering you heart mind and body to the person you love so that you are as vulnerable and readable as an open book. To have that trust and faith in someone is the difference in sex and making love. Omg, I'm getting too mushy. TMI. Sorry Gabi if I told too much. This was great and the couple had great character development. Natasha was so funny at time. She had a fun personality. Todd was just closed off. I felt he resented her for doing nothing and only spending money. He felt that this is the only reason she married him. Oh just read it! You won't be able to put it down!
3 1/2* Natasha is the typical rich bored housewife fooling around with the hired help looking for excitement. Todd is her rich husband working hard to pay for her lifestyle. After catching her in the act he has some things planned for her! Will she take the punishment & can they get back on track. I was given a copy of this book for my honest opinion & enjoyed it. Good book

This book was freaking hot! And it was all kinds of dark and dirty. I loved this couple. It will surprise you from the start. Their story begins in the middle. They've had some rocky times, and it's clear that Todd and Natasha gave up on their marriage too quickly. When we come in, so much is wrong with their relationship that could have been fixed through simple communication. Todd thinks his wife is a gold-digger who never really loved him and Natasha is feeling ignored and neglected by her cold and distant power-hungry husband who she believes just wants a trophy wife. They both grew up poor, so it's only natural that they want the security that comes along with having money. But surprisingly, that's not all their relationship is about. They both truly love each other but have always been unable to express their feelings, wants, and needs. It's not until Todd witnesses Natasha's deception that we see how devastated they both are with the potential destruction of their marriage. Now they are forced to deal with it and decide if they will move towards a reconciliation or termination of their marriage. To do that, Todd plans to punish his wife for her actions or let her walk away and have the freedom he thinks she wants. I loved the road they took towards Natasha's absolution. I thought Todd's punishments seemed a bit extreme at times, but it was obviously something they both enjoyed. Being able to trust that your relationship can withstand something like that is remarkable. I had no idea what this book was about. It was fun going into it blind and surprising at the same time. I look forward to reading more books by this author.

Wow, this was a slam dunk for Gabi Moore with this hot as hell dark romance! I wasn't expecting the turn this story took; it has quite an unexpected surprise that may leave you infuriated but it is jaw-dropping good! This is the first book I read by Gabi Moore, but I assure you, it will not be the last. This book was well written and a blistering hot look into the private lives of a, not so normal, broken marriage. I loved the characters of Natasha and Todd. Todd is handsome, sexy, intense, obsessive, and when it comes to Natasha, he will do anything for her. Natasha is smart, beautiful, and she knows what she wants in a man—someone stable and adoring, definitely not the type of guy who sleeps around. After all, Natasha rarely does the wrong thing—until she feels Todd is no longer giving her the attention she craves. There's lots of raw unfettered sex in here though, so be warned. If you like dark romances with a dose of risqué and erotic with a pinch of sweetness, you’ll love ABSOLUTION. There are several surprises and plot twists and turns within the story that makes it interesting. This book will pique your interest and draw you in from the beginning to the very end.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This was an intense book; do NOT take the warnings lightly, as I can see how some of it might be too much for some people to handle. This is definitely a dark story with some cheating, some punishment, and a lot of what might be considered taboo to some. That being said – this was my first Gabi Moore read and I can promise I will be reading more of her stuff. The story was full of several unexpected twists and turns & I was literally racing through to see how it would turn out (the author promised a HEA ending and I just was not a believer). The first impression I got of the main female character was that she was a b*tch, and that the main male was either oblivious or apathetic to his wife's activities; but by the end of the book I changed my mind and realized that they both had their issues that they were trying to work through without showing weakness to the other. The author switched the POV between the two characters and that really helped to redeem them both in my eyes. I would recommend this book, but you should be prepared for quite a ride.
This is the most ridiculous, asinine book I have EVER read! The plot is absolutely insane! I read stories to be entertained. This definitely did not entertain. Todd had refused his wife sex for over a year, never spent any time with her, never honored his marriage vows YET he "loved" her? BALDERDASH!! He was aware the first time she sought sex with another man yet he never said anything for a year UNTIL he happened to walk in and saw it happening in person. Todd is MORE guilty of the marriage breaking up than Natasha did by her selfish infidelities. Then, he begins a campaign to PUNISH HER? The night at the club was the high point of depravity! Natasha is selfish, without morals and spineless but Todd is without a doubt certifiably psychotic. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. I DO NOT recommend this book. I have read several dark romances and enjoyed the development of the plot. It is obvious what the purpose of this plot is and I am not impressed. First time I wish that I could give a MINUS star! But Amazon requires a star so I will give ONE STAR!
I have only recently begun reading erotic romance, but I have to say that from the titles I have read, this is by far the best of them.
Yes, this a darkly twisted book, but it gets under your skin from the beginning and keeps you engulfed in the story trying to see just how far the writer will go with the story.
I felt for both of the main characters, because they both had redeeming qualities no matter how bad you might want to dislike them. I don't know what I would do if I was put in either position, but I do know it takes an author worth their salt to be able to write a story of this caliber and draw the reader in especially when it deals with the things topics going on here.
At the end of the day, no matter how you feel about either Natasha or Todd, it will clearly make you rethink your own relationship, might even make your own relationship stronger.
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would, because as taboo as it was to me, I loved the story! I did receive a DRC of this title, and couldn't wait to read and review it! The opinion contained herein is solely my own and completely unbiased.
Title: Absolution – A Bad Boy Romance Novel Series: Stand Alone Genre: Dark romance Author: Gabi Moore Format: E-Book Published: Oct 1, 2016 Rating: 3.5 ✩'s

➵aaaaaaaaa➵ Summary Paragraph: Warning this book contains some very dark scenes and is not for anyone looking for a happy go lucky romance!!!!!
Definitely not a book for the faint at heart. This book was tactfully written from the prospective of a couple that has lost all trust in each other.
This book was shocking to say the least and a very interesting look into a tiny bit of the swinger/bdsm lifestyle.
Todd knows his wife is cheating on him and he really wouldn’t care if she had only told him first. Now he must teach her a lesson in trust and absolution.
Natasha is cheating on her husband, but she is still in love with him what can she do to get him to notice her.
I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book from Gabi Moore. When I started reading this book my first instinct was that I was going to hate it but I kept reading it and I'm so glad I did. Natasha and Todd are a young married couple who haven't had sex in several months. Todd is rich, handsome and very hard working while Natasha is an immature, spoiled little bitch who cheats with any guy she can get her hands on. I don't like cheating at all but somehow in this book it seems necessary to tell their story although it was quite extreme. Natasha wasn't very likable at all in the beginning and by the end I didn't hate her quite as much but I definitely didn't love her. Her problem was she was a spoiled rotten trophy wife with too much time on her hands and a husband who indulged her. When Todd catches Natasha in the act he finally mans up and teaches her a lesson she'll never forget.
I'm going start off by saying that this book has several things going on that I usually steer away from when choosing a book . However this author always intrigues and challenges me so I gave it a go.
I have to say - I never really connected or empathized with Natasha. She was honestly so over the top for me - I just kept reading to watch the "train crash". I didn't particularly like or dislike Todd either.
This was a dark and twisted story w/revenge sex/slave issues. But what did draw me in was how far someone would go to say their marriage to someone they proclaimed to love. While the story took the reader to places and events that definitely expanded my view point and challenged my comfort zones, the author did this seamlessly while telling the story from dual POV.
A bit of an uncomfortable read for me but one I couldn't put down.

I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this book. Honestly, I thought I will never finish this book when I started reading, because Natasha is exactly the type of a girl I despise and having her as a heroine seemed like no way for me. But then I just decided to give it a chance and look deeper into the characters, and that's when the fun started. You just have to omit the surface you may hate and truly enjoy the story. The boom was full of deep and raw emotions, machinations and calculations, a real whirlwind of emotional break and way to fix it any possible way. A broken and malfunctioning marriage, the opulence of the rich world and the truth hidden behind money and nice facade. Two brilliant characters warring against each other forthe same purpose, with the same goal. Althoigh I felt sometimes awkward as the observant of some scenes and situation, I found myself enjoying the book at last. A good pick.
I received a courtesy advanced copy and am voluntarily reviewing this book (Thank you!).
Todd finds his wife Natasha cheating on him, literally having sex with another man, right before his very eyes. Now he knows he must make her pay. He just hasn’t decided how he will enact that punishment…
Yes, Absolution was intense and gave me deep thoughts and images that at times weren’t my favorite thing. There were serious views expressed through the hero and heroine that cannot be taken lightly. Overall the book will heighten the experiences you’d normally have in a romance book with a HEA. The theme is profound and you’ll definitely get your fill of all the sexual practices you can imagine. I would have to say this is not for the faint of heart. It’s extremely erotic and attention grabbing from start to finish. Sex abounds! 4 Stars!
I voluntarily reviewed as Advanced Reader's Copy of this book.
So when I started reading this book I was like what the heck.... what is going on.. But I was to intrigued I just had to see what was going on, and I am so happy that I did. This book is interesting in the aspect that no matter what two people in a marriage do to each other, if you can not trust each other, love really doesn't exist. For Natasha she was a bored rich house wife that had affairs to get back at her husband that was not around Todd made money to make sure he had the life he wanted and to give his wife that he "loved" the life she deserved, so he was never around. In the mean time, he lived in a world that his wife was a good girl.. When he finds his wife doing something bad, well he finally realizes he needs to do something different
"I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book."
This is the first book I have read by this author and I’ll definitely be checking out more of her work. When I initially started reading I was felt a bit uncomfortable with how Natasha was just cheating left, right and centre, and Todd came off as an ass…. But I was really happy that I continued. The book was well written and at no point did I feel that the story was becoming predictable. While I can’t say I found either of the characters relatable, I was intrigued by them and I enjoyed reading about them.
This is definitely not a traditional romance and a lot of the behaviour of the characters is questionable and frankly a bit disturbing, but that in no way stops it from being sexy. The head games they play with each other are just.... I have no words.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book Well this was different in a hot psychological way, if that makes sense. Wasn't sure what to make of it at first but I thought, no carry on. Natasha Beckford cheats on husband Todd. They are fabulously wealthy but seem to lack something in their relationship. When he sees her with another man he decides to take revenge if you want to call it that. There are good sexy moments in there but also things he 'made' her do or she could walk and leave. Felt out of my comfort zone at some points and only for that reason give it 4 stars. All will be revealed at the end and how their relationship evolves and quite literally, they do deserve one another.
