WARNING: Be prepared to NOT be able to put this book down until you've finished the last page! This is one of those books that stays with you. For instance: Once you start reading, it'll stay with you as you attempt to cook dinner with a spoon in one hand and your Kindle device in the other, and as you attempt to sleep, but find yourself instead firing up the Kindle for "just one more chapter," because the story is so engaging.

Most importantly, and how you can tell it's one of those extraordinary stories: It'll also stay with you after you read that final page...

Forged In Fire has well defined characters and such an interestingly crafted world in which they live, struggle, and come to make that one decision that changes everything. Not only do the main protagonists (Ciaran is my favorite!) take on a life of their own, but the story, itself, is delivered in a unique voice, filled with suspense, action, adventure, romance, mystery - all blended in such a magical way as to keep you on the edge of your seat.

I don't want to give the story away but I can tell you that this author really delivers! I'd read the first book in this series, and was thrilled when I saw the second book was available for download. I absolutely loved the ending and how it tied things together nicely, while still leaving it open for more adventure.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Ciaran , what can I say I was cheering for him from page one! I could not put this book down. I downloaded this book before I realized it was book two of a series so I downloaded book one and read it first. I have to say I liked book one but I LOVED book two. I wanted to scream at Desiree and Ciaran so many times for their stubbornness. Neither wanting to bend for the other but unable to resist the passion and desire sparking between them. Ciaran, figuring it out first, finally goes after what he wants. Pushing Desiree until she bends, knowing the whole time what Desiree wants, but because of her demon nature can't admit. Steamy and action packed adventure. I received a free copy for my honest review.

I don't usually write reviews, but Forged in Fire was THAT good! I got pulled into the amazing fantasy world where the characters tried to survive.

Desiree and Ciaran are strong by themselves, but together, they can take the whole demon council on; or at least they can try. It was really interesting watching them fight their battles - sometimes with each other, sometimes with others. Their rocky romance path, the dangerous journey they must undertake to survive, and the forces around them that could crush them, when combined, made it an exceptional read.

It's both a fantasy story that could stand on its own legs without the romance, and a sizzling romance that would be enough just by itself. But together, it's a combination that kept me on the edge of the seat while virtually flipping through the pages well into the night.

Awww so good!!!

I can't wait for the next book 😀. I really enjoyed this read it has everything a PNR lover wants in a book/series. I could read it all over again right now I enjoyed it that much. The characters the storylines are all wonderfully put together. I want to go on and on about how good this series is but I don't want to give a single thing away and spoil any of the magic. Roll On book 3 I'm so excited for more 😍. I'm going to go to Google for answers about the next one like a desparado 😬. 5 stars from me 🌟🌠🌟🌠🌟

I have not read the first book in this series, yet it didn't bother me in any way reading this second one. This story is all about emotions and reactions. Desiree or Ciaran have bodies that can take a beating and be right back up to par in minutes. When these two get frisky things get very fired up. They both have very deep and strong feelings of who they are and why. Only by understanding why they are the way they are, and finding acceptance of that, could they possibly let each other in. Yet at the same time they are fiercely ready to protect each other at any cost. This journey is what you will find in this hot-blooded tale. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
