A Five-star read that will burn your heart right to your soul. This is number two in the Desired by the Dragon series, and it follows from number one so well, I was so glad that we got to find out more about Batch and also Scarlett, I was so eager to see why she was so grumpy, and what made her tick. I mean I could understand it, your family is being hunted, but there seemed something deeper going on, and now we know what it is. This is as always a well written story, and has more spice that we are used to from this author, but there is also more drama, and it all flows so well. A great story, and it leaves me wanting number three now!!

This is Batch and Scarlet’s story and it’s a good strong read. Well written this short shifter romance is exciting, thrilling and has a little spice and steam. There’s danger, drama with some mystery and has some fantastic characters and I have loved their journey!

Both Batch Murphy and his dragon wanted Scarlet LeFroy, the Alpha’s little sister. But he knew that was impossible. When he and Silas were younger, Silas had warned him against messing with his sister. Batch promised not to do so, and he kept his promises. Besides, every female who had been in his life had been taken by Death. He would not provide another victim. But her scent was still driving him crazy as he visited the Alpha’s home to report on his mission.
He told Silas that, even though Vanessa was eliminated in her attempt to kill him, now the rest of her group of hunters may coming to find out why she hasn’t checked in. The Alpha told him he could stay with them until they resolved this. The two brothers and Batch needed to keep Scarlet safe. Would he survive being this close to her? Would it give her the chance to show him they belong together? Or would the arrival of the dangerous Hunters take her from Batch forever?

Scarlet and Batch had a thing for each other but tried not to show it even though they had a moment before her and brothers went on the run. Batch was watching Vanessa a hunter that was chasing them, she was taken care of. Scarlet was stabbed in the chest in the edge of her heart by her boyfriend who has been hunting shifters. Batch got there and saved her things worked out. Good book!.

You will love Batch and Scarlets journey in this book. They are mates that don't seem to get what they want. Scarlet is alphas little sister and he puts loyalty and duty before all else. While Scarlet is determined to make him see she is what he wants.

I wondered if Dylan was gonna turn out to be a psycho. I like Becky, I hope she finds a happily ever after. I really enjoyed this book and I definitely recommend reading.

Batch has spent the last year tracking 'Hunters' that are after his friend's family because they are all dragon shifters.
He and Scarlet grew up together and have both have been interested in the other but Batch didn't act on his desires because he was Scarlet's big brother, Silas's best friend and he though Silas would be against the match.
When a shifter finds a mate, they find it difficult to stop the claiming process and Batch and Scarlet manage to find a way to be together despite the misunderstanding with Silas, the attack of a shifter 'Hunter' and another shifter being sighted. I enjoyed Batch and Scarlet's story and look forward to the next book in the series.

After one hot night, the two went their separate ways, much to the annoyance of Scarlet. She wants Batch, has loved him for years, but for some reason he keeps her at arms length.
When they come face to face again, that old chemistry hasn’t gone away. If anything, it’s stronger. With both their dragons pushing for more, how long can the two be around one another before they’re fanning the flames of desire once more? And with a new threat in town, will they even get the chance?

Batch was an entertaining and exciting read, with the perfect amount of sizzling tension between the H and h. These two can’t be near one another without creating sparks, and the build-up to them finally getting together is loaded with heat and will-they-won’t-they moments.
I liked that Batch and Scarlet had known each other a long time because it allowed us to jump the “getting to know you” part (without feeling like we skipped something vital) and focus on the brewing romance.
The addition of other shifter characters was a nice surprise—panther shifter, Becky, and her feisty sisters need a side series for sure!—and it was great to see Violet and Scarlet bonding with their little heart-to-heart.
The dragon shifter element took centre stage more in this book too, which was good to see, although like Silas, it’s still light on the details.
If you’re looking for heavy fantasy in your novella, you won’t find it here, but what you will get is a well-written, second-chance paranormal romance with some much anticipated steamy moments and characters that you can’t help but root for (The hero’s backstory—instant heartbreaker!).
The way Jennifer Snyder writes makes this series an addictive, easy-read and definite page turner that I think any novella lover will enjoy.

Holy Hades!!! Lol
This was a great second installment. Batch was strong and perfect for Scarlet. The two have been in love with each other for a long time, but fought it. But when a threat threatens to take it all away the secrets love affair is tested. Loved this story.

I really liked Batch and Scarlet's story. I enjoy this dragon shifter series, with them being tracked down by hunters, but we don't see much of their dragon or the chase from the hunters, it's mainly about the two love interest finally getting together.

An enjoyable second book in this series Desired by a Dragon. A quick, second chance at love romance story. The story will keep you interested. The characters fit well together.
