The narrative runs like a play with no apparent order. It jumps from personal to political and from past to present showing the 2 faces of the man.
Through the characters Shade and Shine, we see the apparent differences between Jaffer and Sharief .
Jaffer vs Sharief is about Jaffer Sharief’s life, relationships, ambitions, identity and internal conflicts.
It shows how one’s ultimate companion is one’s loneliness.
