Sian Michele Williams (aka Sian Nixon) is a teacher, editor and author. She has written novels, biographies, history, short stories, plays, pantos, and screenplays.
She has recently worked with Jason Woods on a history of the Parachute Regiment ‘Paras In Action’ due to be released in October 2022 by Pen & Sword and Jason’s autobiography 'Long Road to Libya' published by Lume.
The thriller ‘Countdown’ is now available on Amazon written by Sian with Jason advising on all the technical details. This was a really exciting journey learning all about the Parachute Regiment and Security Operators and their incredible lives. While ‘Countdown’ is fictional much of the story is based on real life experiences and historical events.
Works include 'Eyes of the Soul' 'Quicksand' 'Calling Time' and 'Disconcerting Short Stories' as well as 'Into the Blue' and 'Riddles of the Rainbow' for children. Born in Reading, England she studied at Birmingham University and Oxford University, and worked for ITV and the BBC before moving to the U.A.E as a teacher and freelance journalist. Her adaptations of well-known stories and completely original fantasy stories for the stage provide entertainment for audiences of all ages and are now performed all over the world.
She is now based in Cyprus and whilst continuing to write original stories she works as an editor and a teacher.
Her passions include photography and theatre, and she loves acting, directing and writing for the local community theatre. She also loves walking her new rescue puppy, swimming, and tennis, and she attempts to play golf.

Awards: Scriptwriter of award-winning documentary, semi-finalist in the Fellini awards and nominated for Best Original Short Screenplay in the London International Film Festival 2018.
