While this started out enjoyable I'm afraid I lost interest after a while.

I didn't like the OC that was added and it all got a little confusing with her family line.

A large part of the story followed cannon with just a few tweeks so it also became a little boring.

Sadly I don't see myself continuing with this one.

★★⯪☆☆

This story is not the one the description shows. There’s a largish subplot centred around an OFC, an American to boot. It was rather confusing at first, less so later, but I had to give this one the benefit of doubt (although later stories (this is a Book One) in the “sereies”[sic!]¹ might be worse).

The remaining parts… well. Much of it is a retelling of canon, only touched slightly by the presence of the time traveller. But I did have some laughs, so it wasn’t entirely for nought.

① This should clue you in on the author’s relationship with proper spelling. It’s noticeable but not too bad.

PS: Forgot: also, a bit past just skirting on the edge of anachronisms for 1991/1992, and getting worse in the second book.

PPS: I eventually ceased to read the entire series.
