caillou watches Rosie

Mommy is tired and needs a nap. She asks Caillou to watch Rosie while she naps. Before Mommy lays down, she gives Caillou and Rosie markers and big pieces of paper. Caillou was so focus on his drawing he didn’t notice Rosie had gotten up and left the room. Caillou found Rosie in another room drawing on the wall. He told her to stop, she ignores him so he took the marker from Rosie and she started screaming and that woke their Mommy. Mommy came into the room and yelled at Caillou then picked up Rosie and put her down for a nap. Mommy found Caillou sitting on the floor crying.

I enjoyed the story up to the point when Mommy yelled at Caillou and never apologized but used a distraction instead to make Caillou feel better.

The illustrations are top notch.
