Another book from my YW days. This book is about a junior attending Berkeley and majoring in poetry. To try to bulk himself up, he takes a weight lifting class. At the beginning of each class, everyone runs either on the outside track where everyone can see, or the inside track, which is more private. That is where the main character meets a girl, who will eventually introduce him and his roommates to the gospel. We had just visited Berkeley as a family for a day before I found this book. So it was fun to read keeping everything in mind.

I thought the story was very dry and slow moving. One good quote: "The care of this world and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the world, he becometh unfruitful"
