I got this book today after having a night vision hours earlier which the Spirit had made clear to me that the vision was from Him and not myself or an evil spirit. I didn't understand parts of the vision so I turned to this book. I'm not a Charismatic Church attender, so I approached this book with a measure of caution, knowing that many teachers in the Charismatic movement deviate far from scripture or just do not know how to interpret and teach the scriptures. This book turned out to be a pleasant surprise as the authors have a much better understanding of the scriptures than most others who write Charismatic books. There were a couple points I disagree with them on, but these were only minor issues. The book turned out to be a workbook, a companion to their giant book called The Divinity Code. I haven't read that book and I may do so. Despite this being a workbook and companion to their large tome on this same subject, I found it very helpful for the most part. Some good instruction here. They emphasize relying on God's Spirit to reveal the interpretation of His dreams and visions rather than us trying to figure it out and being patient as He may not reveal it until days, weeks or months later. I needed to hear that today. God speaks to me primarily through the scriptures, but on extremely rare occasions had used a dream. Lately the God-given dreams and visions have become more frequent and so the instructions and warnings given in this book are most helpful and welcome.
