When I started reading this, I thought it was a Fanfic I'd never read before, but throughout the story there were little scenes or plotlines that were very familiar, so I'm still not sure if I might have read this years ago.
In any case, this was very entertaining. It's in keeping with the character and when previous portrayals in the official books were unflattering or contradictory with this plot, a very plausible explanation was given. I love that this story is so long, even though it only really spans about two weeks.
I loved all the scenes where Hermione was (righteously) hexing/cursing people for something they'd done, since they were creative and fitted with the offense.
Even though I love a good Ron-bashing and have read lots of Fanfiction where Ron is small-minded and/or abusive, in this one Ron is accepting after overcoming his initial shock and I was surprisingly fine with that.
The author has a tumblr account where you can find pictures of the outfits Hermione wears and it helped me very much in picturing the scenes!
