Four breakout Christian apologists, no strangers to “fringe” topics, take a radical look at Cosmology based on new discoveries in physics and unconventional insights into the Bible. Each is noted for his willingness to tackle the challenges of secular skepticism and examine the intersections between modern science and the Bible. You will embark on an astounding adventure exploring the cosmos afresh, guided along by their unrestrained research as well as remarkable if not incredible conclusions. In Volume One of a two-volume study, the controversies of angelic incursions in humanity’s history and their impact on the human genome are considered. Also the nature of evil and the role that fallen angels and heavenly archons have played in the story of the Bible as well as rethinking Christology and the meaning of the Logos, contrasting with Gnostic and occult concepts of the demiurge. Here the authors demonstrate startling parallels to our day.In regards to modern physics, numerous timely topics are tackled which Dangers of CERN’s Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the occult agenda behind humanity’s most powerful machine; and its link to the Tower of Babel; * Opening dimensional portals and its unknown effects, including awakening the creatures of the Abyss, and a possible connection to the planet Saturn;* Man-machine hybrids empowered by the Internet and threats presented to humankind from unrestrained advances in transhumanist research.* Challenges to Einstein’s standard model by the revolutionary concepts of the Electric Universe proposed by scientists at the Thunderbolts Project;* Theories about cosmic wars and the “real” star wars of ancient times.
This is an awful book. It's like L. Ron Hubbard and Zecharia Sitchin had a baby, while Joseph Smith of the Mormons had a baby with Stephen King, and those babies had a baby together, and that baby went on to have a baby with Steven Spielberg, and that baby went on to write the most petulant and narcissistic work of immature and extrapolated fantasy possible. The result is something that gives you indigestion in your neocortex from its sheer incoherence. While I forced myself to read it, I alternated between cringing and laughing out loud the whole way through.
FOUR CHRISTIAN AUTHORS LOOK AT SOME ‘OTHERWORLDLY’ CONCEPTS
Co-author S. Douglas Woodward wrote in the Introduction to this 2016 book, “[Carl Sagan] and I have very different reasons for believing that humankind matters. I believe, and the authors writing with me believe, that we matter most because God has placed us at the center of the story of the Cosmos. This provides the foundational point of this book… The story arc of the Bible is the story of Adam and Eve placed in the Garden of Eden to be its caretakers. Humankind fell and that fall greatly impacted the Cosmos. The rest of the story … then becomes… how God redeemed human beings and will put them back into a paradisiacal setting in the New Jerusalem in a recreated Cosmos.” (Pg. 13)
He continues, “The purpose of this book is to revise our reality, the awareness of Christians, concerning the Cosmos. We need this revision for two very important reasons: One, we have been brainwashed with the secular, atheistic version of reality all of our lives. We have been taught that the Big Band is the truth, as an incomprehensible and chaotic origin all for matter and energy… Likewise, we need to revise our reality because … we have drifted far from the biblical premise that we live in a supernatural universe… as well as from the assumption that God can and does intervene in the affairs of men and women.” (Pg. 17)
He explains, “We are CREATIONISTS generically speaking. We assert that God created the heavens and the earth. Thus, we embrace believers in three different camps… (1) those who advocate a ‘young Earth’; (2) those who support … [a] ‘gap’ of time between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2… (3) those who simply believe… that the universe was created in such a way that human life could exist… the age of the earth and its precise formation remains beside the point… Scientific investigation underscores this fact again and again… The Discovery Institute … focuses great minds on this endeavor.” (Pg. 18-19)
He observes, “this book has been written by the authors from the perspective that we are living in the VERY LAST of the last days. Writing on the topic of Cosmology would hold little interest to us … if the context of our discussion wasn’t relevant to what the Bible predicts about the last days and what the intersection between science and technology means to the matter of what is soon to happen in the ‘real world’ in which we live.” (Pg. 33)
Josh Peck and S. Douglas Woodward state, “When we look at the Genesis 6 account, we discover that these ‘sons of God’ saw the ‘daughters of men’ and took them for wives. Their offspring were giants… We recall the common notion that mankind had a ‘fall’ in the garden of Eden. This fall was not tripping… it was much more cataclysmic than that. It was a descent from … a particular exalter moral status to a much lower place in the grand scheme of sentient beings… the standard word used today for these fallen … giants, is ‘nephilim.’ … The Nephilim are HYBRIDS of angels and humans. They are not fallen angels.” (Pg. 43-45) Later, they add, “We presume all angels are masculine---which appears to be the Bible’s plain teaching…However, one could assume instead that they are androgynous beings without gender, but which will require a corporeal body to interact ‘normally’ with the physical realm.” (Pg. 56)
They continue, “there was an original incursion of Nephilim before The Great Flood… that … utterly destroyed them. We know there was a second incursion sometime after the flood since giants appear again and have populated Canaan… Giants were the primary obstacles the Israelites had to overcome to win back the land promised to Abraham.” (Pg, 62)
They summarize, “the so-called aliens are really fallen angels… with ah ability to manifest in our space-time realm with a physical body… In today’s world, the effort to improve upon the nature of the human race is called transhumanism. The notion that animals can be given advanced traits that are unnatural to their species through genetic modification has become science fat, not fiction. We appear to be on the cusp of seeing this science become an accepted means to modify the human genome to ‘improve’ humanity. The consequences could be disastrous… The Prophet Daniel hints that the last kingdom may be compromised of individuals whose seed has been mingled with non-human seed. Hybrid creatures may already be among us today.” (Pg. 70-71)
Josh Peck suggests, “I am of the belief that alien beings are actually extradimensional by nature rather than extraterrestrial. I do believe they have the ability to engineer three-dimensional living bodies, however I believe that overall origin of these things are not from another planet, but rather from a higher dimension. Whether or not this ‘engineering’ is through a sexual encounter or through technological means… the outcome remains the same.” (Pg. 81)
Gonzo Shimura and S. Douglas Woodward state, “The Second-temple-period text found in the first 37 chapters of the Book of Enoch, supplies the details the Genesis 6 account omits. Here, the ‘sons of God’ are called ‘Watchers.’ … The remarkable insight from Enoch reinforces the Divine Council paradigm… the Watchers … may or may not be associated with God’s Divine Council… every member of the Council apparently has been corrupted… another reason why this act was so abominable to God included the fact IT CROSSED DIMENSIONAL BARRIERS… the offspring became hyper-dimensional entities that literally had one foot in each of the two realms… This race of beings possessed SUPERNATURAL capabilities due to its extra-dimensional abilities… we are asserting that beings from the ‘other side’ ‘interface’ with humanity, begetting demi-god offspring as described in ancient mythology.” (Pg. 104-105)
Anthony Patch and S. Douglas Woodward assert, “This exploration into our mental model of the universe centers on the applied physics at the heart of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) in Geneva, Switzerland, specifically designed … and managed by the organization we know as CERN. However, a word of warning as we begin: spiritual forces are at work. These forces transcend the human agents there, many unwittingly engaged in a program not of discovery, but of destruction. The science at CERN combines that which is known by the physicist, but also what is ventured by the alchemist.’ (Pg. 117) They add, “It takes only a modicum of discernment to realize its planners base their mission upon Satan’s promise that ‘ye shall be as gods’ after partaking of the TREE OF KNOWLEDGE. For it’s through this greatest of lies that humankind not only failed to detect its oncoming destruction but participates actively and eagerly in its self-annihilation.” (Pg. 122)
In another chapter, Anthony Patch notes, “‘Why did CERN’s founders decide to place a statue of the Hindu god Shive outside the headquarters building?’ Given that Shiva is a god worshipped for his powers of destruction….what meaning does this imply? … It has been my contention all along that the ultimate objective of CERN concerns spirits, not just physics… I believe CERN quests to birth a new race of beings. To accomplish this great work, it will enlist support from agents of the dark side. That is, the LHC intends to play a part in re-creating humanity and fulfilling ‘the Lie’ as propagated by Satan himself.” (Pg. 147) He asserts, “CERN has become the modern Tower of Babel, and its leaders the ideological sons of Nimrod.” (Pg. 150) Later, he adds, “We have entered into a realm where physical and spiritual are not to easily distinguished. Furthermore, the distinction between … physical reality and digital reality, also becomes blurred. This realm is not native to us---it stretches our comprehension and our creeds. It requires REVISING REALTY; that is to say, we must rethink our worldview.” (Pg. 155)
He goes on, “the vast numbers of coincidences, symbols, and pattern of occult rituals suggests to me that CERN scientists seek to hold open ‘the hatch;’ long enough for vast quantities of entities or the encoding of their beings to pass though into our realm and to be re-materialized on the other side of the transmission… This is where the digitizing of DNA gets factored into this process.” (Pg. 165) After admitting that “here is where I go into FULL speculation mode’ (Pg. 170), he states, “Birkeland currents serve to transmit the digitized DNA of demonic Titans of old directly to and then below Earth’s surface. Shockingly, the entry point is at CERN, where perhaps the shaft to the Abyss as described in the Bible resides… Therefore, it appears this was the purpose that the LHC was located on the ancient site of the Roman temple to their god Apollo. Apollyon…the name means destroyer. [Rev 9:11].” (Pg. 172)
S. Douglas Woodward laments, “Mainstream Christian theology does little more in our day than stumble around in search of a reason to affirm some type of God-concept along with justifying the value of faith in Him---or more accurately---IT… just when the game is going down to the wire, mainstream Christianity is hopeless feckless, unable to enter the fray as an ‘impact player’… my frustration on this point is profound.” (Pg. 181)
Gonzo Shimura and S. Douglas Woodward state, “The authors of this book assert that what lies beyond spiritual doorways proves to be neither benign nor beneficial. Many passages from the Bible warn humankind to leave dimensional portals alone since powers lurk behind them that threaten our existence… The authors of this book feel duty-bound to describe spiritual realities which exist and conditions that surely produce nefarious outcomes. Our caution isn’t meant to be judgmental to merely justify ourselves…” (Pg. 213)
This book may appeal to some Christians interested in more ‘far out’ concepts, such as the Nephilim, CERN, etc.
Like anything of this kind you need to take it with a 'grain of salt' there is certainly some food for thought and some very interesting points raised. I appreciated how the authors said when they were heading off on a path of pure speculation.
