A very simple introduction to the main things you can find in a desert.

This doesn't include any animals, but it does include all the common geological features and some of the typical plant life. The back of the book includes further information, like where each of the pictures is from and more details about things deserts have in common.

This is a really simple book on deserts for emergent readers. At first, while turning the first pages I was thinking this was just an ok book. However the last page makes the biggest attribute of the desert super clear and perfect for little ones to understand.

Very short text and the facts at the end of this book the campers did find as exciting.
