A incredible Man with a message to tell

Some of these words may be over a hundred years old but the message is as valid today as it has ever been. This is a book of some of the messages shared by Smith Wigglesworth, they are fresh as in not in other books already released of his words. If you live Smith Wigglesworth and the GOD he serves, if you love GOD's son and the Holy Spirit I believe you will love this book.

Read it over and over

This is a guide of great importance. Read it over and over again. It comes in agreement with the Holy Scriptures but you have to concentrate until you can understand the old English-speaking sentence structure and then say, "ah that is what he means!" Smith Wigglesworth's best .

Pearl.

So full of good and truth. 100 years later these truths and words are like today. The same issues, concerns, needs, and wants all presented in an easy good read. It’s refreshing and focused. It’s hard not to put it down, but you must to absorb its goodness. It is charismatic for the beginner and advanced.

Great book

This book is inspiring and to the point. It is great for preachers, teachers and other leaders in the church. It talks about the Holy Ghost being the power that God gave to those that live for Him... a great book.

Reverend Smith Wigglesworth was a common citizen but an extraordinary Christian. He wrote in an unassuming style, but powerfully illustrates Christian faith in action. I found his writing in line with the Bible and was inspired by the illustrations and examples he used in the book. I highly recommend this for anyone who is interested in a deeper walk with God and is able to work through some of the slightly dated language.

Great insights from a Pentecostal preacher

These ideas should be timeless. However I did feel like I was reading something from a historic manuscript rather than something relevant today. Perhaps a an updated edition with scripture from a contemporary Bible rather than the KJV and updated examples would make the truths of this book more palatable to a 21st century reader.

Excellent collection on healing

This book is very well presented. It contains a collection of sermons by Wigglesworth, and the talks are ordered in a sensible fashion to help the reader’s thinking process

I recently heard that the difference between teaching and preaching is "about half an hour"--teaching is explaining why something is the way it is, whereas preaching is just declaring it to be so. It might be correct, but it doesn't bother itself about trying to convince you; it's more about exhorting you to be the way you should be, do what you should do, or believe what you should believe. I'm pretty sure this volume is simply a collection of transcribed sermons - so while I didn't disagree with any of it, I would have liked a lot more teaching to be involved. Just my preference.

This is my first audiobook I have completed. I love to read, but I rather enjoyed listening while doing mundane chores. The Lord blessed me as I made better use of my time for edification and education. Whether this book or another good read, try listening on audible. You will be glad you did!

Another great ‘historic’ read! Lots on Pentecost and the Holy Spirit and many stores from Wiggleworth’s life of healings, salvations, and miracles.
