This is the third book I have read on miracles attributed to the virgin Mary and by now I have found that there is quite a bit of repetition in either the content between the books or the types of miracles. This book has some of my favorites so far, the drunk monk vs the beasts, the kid who gets thrown into an oven, and the cleric who makes a deal with the devil for an engaged woman...but...in verse! The verse isn't too hard to read if you know the content already but if you don't it can get sort of hard along with the orthography. There isn't much help in the way of notes or introduction to the individua poems
