More Than A Memory

Rate this book
What might have been can never be if no one dares to dream...

How does one summer change your life? For Devin West, it gave him Sera Sunfield; a college professor ten years his senior, wife of prominent Vermont governor Michael Sunfield. Devin's days working at the small local library are overcome with a heady blend of romance and danger that promises to stay with him for the rest of his life, even if she cannot. Together Sera and Devin are locked in a battle of wills against the governor. Limits are tested on all sides as one by one the leaves of summer turn to fall.

Thirty years later, diagnosed with terminal brain cancer, Devin clings to what is more than a memory; his unwavering and impassioned love for one woman, no matter how much the world got in the way. In his final moments, he recalls the summer that had to last him a lifetime. He is holding on and letting go.

More Than a Memory is a novel that echoes the great classics of old; Romeo & Juliet and The Notebook meet in this retro- modern 80's America setting, while an array of characters ground you to the beauty that is the charming city of Burlington, Vermont. This novel will leave you with as many questions about its pages as love itself and have you craving for just one more memory...
