By day they sleep in coffins. By night they drink human blood. . . .
They are vampires, rulers of darkness, masters of the undead. And once they drink your blood, you are theirs forever.
Now, they are terrorizing an entire village. Dr. Lawrence, his daughter Sandy, and their assistant Paul have come to the Mexican town to help. But killing vampires is not easy. Your very life is at stake--and Sandy finds out when she's surrounded by hungry, evil creatures with shiny white fangs. . . .and one of them wants to make Sandy his eternal bride. . . .
A fast book to read in less than an hour, I liked the atmosphere of the story and the characters as well, but I was hoping that the plot would be more bloody and violent, and this is what was lacking in it. ******************************************************************************* # VERDICT : (6.2/10)
SPOILER ALERT!!!!!! Village of Vampires, Author Steven Otfinoski, Genre Fiction. “DO you think that there is more bats in the Village?” Paul Ross sweat down his face with brown hair. The problem is Vampires in the Village. The primary goal for Paul Ross is to save the Village. They couldn’t find the Vampires and it made them very depressed. Finally they went on the railroad and found and killed some vampires. The antagonist was to get out of there and just let the village go to crap. The goal for the Doctor was to live that’s it. All he tried to do was make all them give up and leave. But they keep moving forward and kept pushing through the hard times! Settings have a very big part of this story. When the setting is in the Village it enhances the story by making the reader more curious. Also more scary. If it just were in a garden it wouldn’t be scary. The climax of this book was when they finally figured out they could save the Village but also live. Once they got a little hope they went for it and succeeded!! During this whole situation in the end Paul Ross became a better all around person. He understood everyone and their situation. He became a leader. But not any leader all of his followers respected him. They all had trust in him also they would listen to whatever he said even if it sounded crazy. A couple things that threw me off. Also a couple things that bothered me. One of the things that threw me off was there were barely any vampires that it talked about only a couple and it’s a book about Vampires! One thing that bothered me was that nobody died sure not everyone needs to die but at least one just to get the reader more interested in what is going to happen next. I would not recommend this book endless you don’t like action or if you like really slow books. I would still rate this book three stars just because it sometimes got me interested in it and sometimes not.
