Bored to death of the clichéd examples usually used to explain Object Oriented Programming concepts, this book tries to make learning a bit lively with help of our favourite Pokemons. The concepts covered Classes and Objects Encapsulation Inheritance Protected Access modifier instanceof operator Types of Inheritance Diamond Problem Polymorphism IS – A Relationship Method Overriding Method Overloading Constructor Overloading Casting Abstract Classes Interfaces Reference Type and type of an Object Dig in and have fun!
I really enjoyed reading this book, the analogy with Pokémon is awesome, although there are some thinks I still don't get it i think this book helped me better understand how OOP works.
