Rate this book
Her conviction to climb out of her financial hole leads to two immortals who ignite unearthly desires within her and capture the deepest recesses of her heart and soul.

Five hundred dollars just to give blood at the local coven? Given her desperate financial position, Kara Parker has little choice but to accept. How bad can it be? She’s given blood before, so what if this time it will be used as food for vamps?
Little does Kara know that once she steps foot in the local coven’s blood bank, her life as she knows will change forever.

As coven king, Markus Sentarie is being forced by the Vampire council to take a wife, but not just any wife- a human wife! He’ll comply, but damned if he’ll be monogamous. He loves indulging in his many sexual endeavors and there’s not a woman alive, vampire or human, who can convince him to change his playboy ways.
Until he sets eyes on Kara.

Kara suddenly finds herself in a compromising position between the coven king, the dark, dangerous, brooding vampire, Markus Sentarie and his second in command, the fierce, blond vampire, Lieutenant Viktor Sentarie. The two lift her to passionate heights most human women can only dream about in their wildest, steamiest fantasies.

But, can the two steaming hot vampires persuade her to remain with them and accept the role of Queen of the Coven?

Not so much

This book needed some hard core editing. The tenses were all over the place and the terminology horrid. Granted, it was a super short novella but really it needed a lot of work. I hated that the second guy was killed off too. After all, how did he not manage to put on a bulletproof vest when even the king who hadn't been the one to assemble the task force managed to do that. Seemed like he was pretty stupid for someone so militant and ancient. Overall, this book wasn't even worth the half hour or less it took to read it. Definitely won't be testing out this authors waters again anytime soon.

Girl can't pay her bills...but it's ok because a rich vampire king wants to take care of her and such. Oh and there was another vampire that the king usually shares with...but then the king gets jealous. Thankfully he is conveniently disposed of so that's good. There just wasn't enough story for this to be any good.

Short by a page turner

Loved this story. For being a short read it had everything in it I look for. Amazing female character, very hot vampires with the protective and love instincts when finding their one and only. It also had the excitement of an anti vampire group who would kidnap the soon to be human Queen to the vampire King. Kara is amazing and she fell head over heals for Markus, the king. Not only the king but his first in command Viktor. The book had some heart ache and sadness, true love and amazing sex scenes. Great read. I will definitely will check out more work by this author
