Cool inside covers! snapshots of the sky as guide for stargazing - look out for Vega, the Gemini (Castor and Pollux), and the Bears... my favorites... This book is the guide for the coolest class ever, which allowed us to come face-to-face with our most taken-for-granted sky object, the moon (it's so bright we have to wear shades at midnite) - of course the calculation part is such a pain, and the rest of us would prefer more sexified activities like reading fantasy sci-fi about the stars, Star Trek, Star Wars, Alien etc. If there's anything Hollywood ever do good is that line from Jodie Foster's character, on the big answer "Are we not alone in the universe?": (if we are) it's such a waste of space, isn't it?? Forget it - either going to the planetarium (at TIM) or read this book is more fun. (I own the text book version not this instructor's manual)
