Charlisse Young, armed with a degree in hospitality management and two years of experience, visits her college roommate in Bangkok, Thailand, to interview for an internship at one of the city’s finest hotels.
When she doesn’t get it, she drags her friend to the hotel to get a look at the person who beat her out.
Raoul Gavreau is equally ambitious. The product of a brief affair between a Thai woman and a wealthy vacationing Frenchman, he is determined to become a bigger success than his disinterested father. He is only too glad to make small talk with the pretty African-American woman and her Thai companion as he serves them.
Charlisse and Raoul meet up on the beach when they both spend the weekend—Charlisse’s last before returning home—on Samed Island. An ordinary encounter in Bangkok soon flares into a passionate short-lived affair, but the biggest surprise awaits Charlisse after she returns home to San Diego.
Twelve years later, when a new hotel opening brings Raoul to town and back into her life, Charlisse finds herself falling in love all over again. She dares to dream of a life with Raoul, but she has a boyfriend who wants to marry her, and then there’s that other dilemma…

This book sat in my Library for months before I finally read it. I couldn't get excited about it. I usually hate the quick jump to sex especially with a stranger. I didn't like the cheating aspect of this story no matter the issues with Adam. And the whole falling in love thing with Raoul and Charlisse had no feeling to it. It wasn't believable as a relationship was never actually started. It was just...Sex and more sex....Boring.
His Father's Son : A BWWM Billionaire Romance is a very good and sensual interracial romance novel that earned a rating of five stars. I enjoyed reading this book and found it to be sweet and adventurous, as the couple met when they were applying for same job in Singapore. They had an sensual encounter a couple of days on a beach in Thailand. When the young woman got home she found out she was pregnant. After raising her son alone, his father comes back into her life and he finds out that he has a son. They have to overcome some obstacles to find their happy ever after. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading very good interracial romance novels.
Both stories were really laid back, but enjoyable. If you want to read something that is a clean romance with a hint of sex this book is for you. Book two is about two wounded people one was a social worker who had issues as a teen but had grown up to help other children and mothers struggling with drugs and alcohol. Felix the hero had grown up in the foster care system. But with the love of a great foster mother had made something of himself. Book one two people meet after one won the prestigious job that the both wanted. No hard feelings they get together have a wonderful time the heroine returned home not knowing she was pregnant. Years later the heroine and hero meet again and he finds out the truth, he has a son.
His Father's Son. This was a great read! I enjoyed this book. It was a sweet romance story that kept me reading. A story about two people who had a fling in a distant land. Charlisse lost out on a job opportunity in Bangkok so she comes back home leaving Raoul. She doesn't know she's pregnant by him and don't tell him because he doesn't want kids and he is making a career for himself. Raoul comes back into her life twelve years later wanting to claim her again. But Charlisse tells several lies to keep her secret from him only for it to be revealed by accident. Raoul is happy and overjoyed and wants to become a family but he first must convince Charlisse. Must read book!
