Read this book for my basic principles of structures class. This book gives you a lot of information that is needed for class and even if you aren't taken that course that I was in. This book has big helpings mainly to enhance the experiences of learning what would otherwise be difficult or at the least abstract ideas in statics. The thrust is architecture, this book goes beyond architecture into engineering. Excellent for community college or university courses in construction, architecture, and mechanics.

This book's intention is to drive a regular human being crazy because I couldn't stop thinking about beams after reading it.
What do you do with one beam, what do you do with two beams, what do you do when you put them together.
I will never become a civil engineer because of this book.
