About the author

Formed in 1980 to combat the growing threat of global terrorism, SEAL Team 6 plays an important part in many U.S. special operations missions. Micklos describes the origins of the Seals and Seal Team Six, as well as some of its major missions. Included are the organizations efforts to capture Bin Laden and some information about its continuing operations. Includes infographics, sidebars, and fact boxes to offer additional insight into the lives of these brave military operators.
