A very fascinating thesis seeking to place 5 otherwise liberal theologians within the domain of the Reformed tradition. Beyond a fascinating historical survey, Gerrish's exegesis of the thought of Schleiermacher is unparalleled. Chapters on Schleiermacher and Nevin were my favorite.
