The author's purchase of a stone house in Vermont, a former Mormon place of worship, leads him to investigate its history and that of the Mormon Church.
The authors bought what they thought was an old schoolhouse in Vermont. After investigation, the "house" turned out to be an old Mormon chapel from the Joseph Smith period. I especially enjoyed the fact that the authors were not members of the LDS Church but were willing and interested in finding out all they could about the history of the house.
