Vices and Virtues is a collection of short stories and poetry created by students on the BA (Hons) Creative and Professional Writing course at The University of Nottingham. Local writers and students on the course produced work inspired by the seven deadly sins and the seven heavenly virtues.
Grace Haddon is a Leicester writer of speculative fiction. She is on the writing team of WI4C, a Leicester writing initiative which produces ebooks for local charities, alongside editor/founder Dale Anthony Church.
She has a 1st-class BA in Creative and Professional Writing from the University of Nottingham, where she edited the class anthology Vices and Virtues which was launched at the Nottingham Writers Studio in 2016. In 2017, she was on the judging panel for the Leicester Writes Short Story Competition alongside Rebecca Burns, Nina Stibbe, Divya Ghelani and Debbie James.
In 2015 her short story Running From Shadows won the creative writing category of the Project Remix competition, judged by Malorie Blackman. Her story The Sky is Black and Endless was shortlisted for the HG Wells Short Story Competition 2016. As of 2022, she has had 26 stories published.
Grace is currently working on a novel, a comedy fantasy story which plays with genre tropes.
