Short Description of the Book: Rabbits is a nonfiction book that begins with a question at each short chapter, and then uses pictures and text to clarify new words and describe qualities of rabbits.
FOCUS: Production and Distribution of Writing
1) Asking and using information and details to answer questions
TEACH: CCSS Connection Kindergarten:
Literacy. RI.K.1 With prompting and support, ask and answer questions about key details in a text.
Literacy W.K.2 Use a combination of drawing, dictating, and writing to compose informative/explanatory texts in which they name what they are writing and supply some information about the topic.
