One of the most fascinating shows of the '60s, Thunderbirds followed the exploits of the Tracy family, who, unbeknownst to most of the rest of the world, ran a secret high-tech rescue operation known as International Rescue.

While the technique used to operate the puppets, known as Supermarionation (the jaws were connected electronically to a track with the dialog, which allowed the movement to be synchronized, and which inspired the puppets in Team America) was unique, it was the vehicles that were the real star. Hidden on the family's private island were a supersonic aircraft, a workhorse cargo aircraft, a space rocket (used to reach their space station), and a submarine, among other specialized equipment used to save people from the dangers of the future.

This book reprints cut-away drawings of all the vehicles, originally published at the height of the show's popularity. It is essential for any true fan of the show!
