This is my second time reading this book and it gets better every time! Truly a fantastic read and a beautiful story. Suzume is such a fun character to follow, and the way she interacts with other characters is amazing, especially as she evolves as a character. Her relationship with her grandfather is so weirdly complex and kind of adorable? I’m a sucker for love during the apocalypse kind of stories, especially when it’s familial. Adorable read, very bloody and beautiful. ♡
