My da got me onto his TV programme reruns as I love fishing and the outdoors , da said it was essential watching when he was younger have to say the programme is never boring .
Neither is this book jack Hargreaves can describe in detail sometimes as an eye witness older ways of the countryside that are almost forgotten a real link to the past well worth the read .

I watched Jack every week on the television when I was a child. Everything was simpler and perhaps a better place.
