This colouring book was released to mark the centenary of Roald Dahl's birth in Wales, 13th September 1916.
We are fortunate that the publishers have put together a colouring book as part of the celebrations. These images are not those wonderfully familiar drawings of the famous Dahl illustrators - Tony Ross and Quentin Blake. The drawings in this book have been specifically created for colouring by two other artists, Leo Brown and Lee Teng.
For most children growing up in the last 40 years, the truly fantastic stories of Roald Dahl will be etched in their minds. What terrific, irreverent fun they are! Colouring this book is going to bring back all of those memories. If you choose to share colouring these images with a child, then I'm sure you can progress to sharing the actual books with them too.
