The title of this book tells me that the old tradition, of having sex outside of marriage as a Christian is now questionable. I was a little turned off by how negative Ms. Adams made sex sound in the beginning of the book, but I kept reading. The way she handled many issues about sex with transparency was real and her constant scripture references was good. The book left me knowledgeable instead of guilt.

Read this book in one day! A Must read for those "Christians" that are in a relationship and NOT married.

Although my religious preference is not as solid as it used to be, when I read this book, I was in need of something that would make me feel that I was worth it and that the lifestyle that I chose was the best one for me at the time. If you are a christian and struggling to "get right w/ God" I suggest that you read this book. If this doesn't help you improve, nothing will.

This book was so on point!!! Ty Adams was straightforward and reminded me that God is all I need. I recommend this book to anyone who may be struggling with relationships, entertainment and sex as a single Christian person, man or woman.

Very straight up. I did like that it didn't sugarcoat it. I never did finish it completely, but what I read back in the date was extremely revealing. Again, loaded with my pencil notations.

Great book. Helps me much of understanding singleness and sex. However, I do have some disagreements with the biblical interpretations. Overall, nice book.

There were a couple of things I agree with, but some of what was written didn't sound biblically sound and seemed like it was just the author's personal opinion. It was ok

Wow! A candid straight forward book that is Ty Adams' personal testimony about coming out of fornication, lesbianism, back to fornication into walking into God's plan for her life. I have only made it to mid chapter 2 and have fought back tears each time I begin reading. I've been reading it in my Literacy instruction class during our free reading time and I have to swallow this lump in my throat each time to keep from bursting in tears in the middle of class. It's kind of safe that way because if I read it at home where I can be vulnerable I have to feel my feelings...

The author has made great use of all of the elements of craft we have spoken about in just 2 chapters: words, specificity, character, voice, beginnings, endings, and tension! You can't really go wrong when you speak this candidly about your life and then relate it back to what the word of God says (Bible). I love hearing people stand up for Christ even when they aren't and haven't always done right by what God's word declares.

No, I would not use this book for teaching because the topic is not appropriate for the audience of elementary school students. It would be controversial to even have it in high school because I may be viewed as "pushing my religion" on someone just by having it in the classroom.

We have the responsibility to make a serious decision regarding our lives. How we handle our sexual beings is one key to remaining victorious in this life, and will lead to assurance of entry into the next.
