My husband gave this to me for a Christmas present (2007). It looked like a good book when I first picked it up and since I was teaching Sunday School, I thought it may help. It took me a while to put it on the top of my reading list. I began reading in the spring and finally finished in the fall. Like most "How To" books it gives the reader techniques and stratagies for, in this book, remembering.
The most interesting part of the book for me was the chapter on "Preventing Age-Related Momory Decline". (No aging jokes, please.) This chapter contains information regarding food supplements and activities that may facilitate memory. It also listed contributing factors to Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. It gives information on what the brain needs to succeed and smart nutrients. I really liked the information in the book and the format of the book was very easy to read and understand. I probably will not use all of the stratagies listed, however, there was new and insightful information for me to glean from.
