Avis Turner was my high school classmate and has written a book consisting of research and personal remembrances. I especially enjoyed learning new things about her family and my old neighborhood. When I came across the name "Josiah Booth Conner" I remembered that his name appeared in my genealogy research which means that Avis's husband, Elbert Conner Turner, was my 3rd cousin 1x removed.
