Quick Summary: A multicultural studies resource for upper ES students

My Review: Mexican American Civil Rights Movement by Christine Honders is a solid elementary level read. It offers beginner knowledge on the Mexican American War, the history of Mexicans and Mexican Americans in this country, the significant triumphs and unique challenges faced by Mexicans and Mexican Americans, and the fight for justice and equality from the perspective of this beautiful and proud people group.

My Final Say: This would be a good starter resource for fifth and/or sixth grade students who are interested in learning about this subject.
