I, Jason: A novel

Rate this book
Jason Sidney is a confused, seventeen-year-old runaway whose life is changed dramatically by a minor accident. Enroute to California, Jason's old car skids out of control catapulting him into a new set of circumstances in the little Mormon town of Woodford. He meets Jim and Sara, who offer him a place to stay; and Jeanie and Cali, who compete for his attention. They introduce him to a religion that seems peculiar but appealing; they exemplify a way of life that tugs at his mind and heart in a way that he cannot ignore. But, always as a shadow of his past, Wilbur Wellington threatens Jason's new-found security. Can a young man who has been shuffled from one foster family to another, learn to trust and to love and even to live the demanding principles of the religion he is trying to embrace?

When I read this, I really liked this book... I was 16.

As far as LDS Authors, I am not a fan. Even back as a teenager. However, I remember liking Shirley Sealy. I haven't dared re-read them, as I enjoy the small happy memories I have of her books.
